Subcontractors: Used ranch hands with no previous experience. Built the greenhouse using lexan on the south, east and west sides, the north side was built of straw bale into an older barn.

Unique features: Did not have to plaster because the hay bale walls were built inside the barn, easy design, excellent insulation during our mountain winters.

Problems encountered: Because the barn was stationary, the designer used that direct south face angle, which causes the greenhouse to get to hot in the summer and did not provide enough air circulation.
